Making a material difference

The Intrinsiq process creates room temperature curable, highly stable, highly functional nano materials. Our process provides inherently stable nano particles and ink formulations that readily disperse in solvents, resins etc, without the electrostatic challenges.

The Process
Intrinsiq Materials' DC plasma-processing platform for the production of inorganic nano-structures is the result of more than 20 years of investment in equipment and knowledge. The process combines broad materials and processing flexibility with scalability for industrial uses. Our process handles a wide range of materials, including metals, oxides, mixed oxides, carbides, nitrides, alloys, and non-stoichiometric materials. Core to this capability is our production process. No other production process known to us can safely fabricate inorganic nano-structures, and specifically nano-copper, with a comparable combination of control over processing conditions, output materials quality, and scalability.

The combination of unique technologies for production and coating have enabled us to develop coated copper nanoparticles, which are easily dispersed in a variety of media, including solvents for inkjet inks and many other applications. The flexibility of this system has been shown with successful trials in a range of manufacturer's inkjet heads on a range of substrates. Intrinsiq CI, a copper ink, is now available.

The process is especially well suited to metals such as, copper, nickel, molybdenum and tantalum but can also make nano-scale silicon, oxides, carbides, nitrides, and non-stoichiometric particles and compounds.

Intrinsiq Advantage
Intrinsiq's propietary manufacturing process produces highly stable and protected nano-particles that disperses well, does not oxidize, and maintains strong shelf life.
